Webinar is not a word
Note to marketing and sales people: "Webinar" is not a real word. Putting that aside, it just doesn't sound good. It doesn't roll off the tongue. It doesn't make me say "Oh, man, these guys are cool! A Webinar? What'll they think of next?!"
"Web seminar" is fine. Sounds like it might actually have substance. Or, simply, "on-line presentation". It gets the job done. You don't need cutesy words to attract customers: you need actual, useful content.
